Social Women's League


Our Social league is all about creating fun, social football environments for women and girls to boost their confidence, build fitness and make friends.

Our Girls United Leagues is a social football competition. The leagues offer a more flexible, lower commitment playing format than traditional football.

A great option for women who haven’t got the time to commit to the traditional training and game format of club football, or for those who want to build their skills and confidence before moving into a club football team.

Girls United Term 4 at Compton Park


Key Information:


  • Start Date: Monday 13th October

  • End Date: Monday 8th December

  • Teams: Pitch Please, Last Minute Moments, Logan Metro Legends, Logan Metro Champions, Mixed Mash, Logan Metro Lethal Weapons, Rookie Assassins and Six Pistols

    • Match Times: 7 pm and 8 pm kick off

  • Format:  Social league - no finals, no ladder. Just fun, inclusive football. 9 weeks / 9 games. Everyone plays each other once plus 2 extra games.

  • Parking: For easier access, please park on the Lynngold Street side. We kindly ask everyone to be considerate of our neighbours. If this car park is full DO NOT PARK IN THE STREET, please use the main car park on the Strathdarr Street side.

  • Toilets & Change Rooms: As our new clubhouse is currently under construction, temporary toilets and a demountable change room are available on site. Thank you for your understanding and patience during this exciting upgrade.

Competition Rules:


  • Team Composition: 
Matches are 6-a-side, with 1 goalkeeper and 5 outfield players.

  • Player Registration:
All players must be registered before participating. To register go to Squadi Registration. For a step-by-step guide go to How to Register in Squadi. Just make sure to select Girls United Social League - Logan Metro - T4 in step 7.

  • Match Duration:
Matches consist of two halves of 25 minutes, with a 5-minute halftime.

  • Substitutions:
Unlimited interchange is allowed during the match.

  • Kick-ins:
When the ball goes out of play along the sideline, play is restarted with a kick-in.

  • No Offside Rule:
The offside rule does not apply.

  • Mandatory Equipment:
All players must wear shin pads for safety.

  • Goalkeeper Restrictions:
Goalkeepers are allowed to move outside the 6m D area but may only handle the ball with their hands inside the D.
Goalkeepers cannot kick the ball directly from their hands. They can only:
      1. Roll the ball, or
      2. Kick it after releasing it.
